Articles
Start with Getting Started and Words & Inspiration. Short, plain, no assumptions.
Scripture, the people of the Bible, and study articles on Judaism, Islam and the churches.
Prayer, the church year, charity and the notes from the work of this place.
Who writes the articles?
IHS Bethlehem Church. They are signed as the church, not as individuals, because the point is the text, not the writer.
Which Bible translation is used?
Modern English, quoted in the sense of the common translations. Where a Hebrew or Greek word matters, it is given and explained.
Do the articles take a denominational side?
No. Where the churches differ, the article says what each holds. Where the Bible is plain, the article says so. Where a question is open, it stays open.
Can I ask for an article on a topic?
Yes. Use the question page. Questions that many readers share become articles.
May I quote or reprint an article?
For personal study, teaching and non-commercial use, yes, with the source named. For anything else, write first.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
— Psalm 119:105
